• Question: was you always good at science

      Probably not what I’m meant to say, but I think I was always pretty good at science. I was pretty academic on everything, but science — more like thinking logically, really — stood out. But I’m not the only experience: I have met successful scientists who’ve taken all sorts of paths to get where they are, sometimes having been a lot more “arty” early on.

      I was always quite good at science at school and think I knew I wanted to be a scientist a long time ago. It isn’t like that for everyone though, I met someone the other day who was a driving instructor for years and then decided to go to uni and study physics. I also know someone who used to be a salesman and then decided to become an engineer.

      I was good at it but at GCSE and A-level I was pretty good at everything. Because of that I never really learnt how to study well which really became an issue at university. Id always recommend working hard regardless of ability

      I’d say I was always good at science, but it wasn’t always what I was best at. For GCSE I was best at Geography 🌎 (which is 50% science I guess 😛). Before and after GCSE I was probably best at maths. Nevertheless, I chose to study physics at university after school, since it was what I enjoyed most. At that point, I was good at science since it was the only subject I was studying! 😉
