• Question: What country you wish to study in, in the future?

      I’d love to do some work in the US and Japan in the future 🙂 Japan because I think the country is awesome and America because they have some very well respected universities. I think I will always end up working in the UK though, as I’d like my research to benefit the UK specifically.

      I got to study in Spain for a year which was an amazing experience. Very different to the UK! I also think it would be really cool to study in Japan.

      I’ve finished all my “studies” now, but would really like to visit the particle physics experiments in Antarctica sometime!

      My answer is that I want to study and work in lots of different countries! One of the cool things about being a scientist is that you get to travel a lot. Not only for short trips like conferences in South Korea, but can be to visit the world’s largest science experiment in Switzerland and France. Science research also gives you the opportunity to work in multiple countries over the course of your career. You can move around every couple of years at the start of your job! There are future big particles physics experiments being talked about in Japan, China, USA…
