      I really enjoyed quantum mechanics at university 🙂 Generally speaking in science, most of the time you think logically and try and see whether the maths gives you the same logic. Quantum mechanics just isn’t very logical and that makes it quite a special subject for me anyway.

      But my all-time favourite topic is on superconductors. These are materials which can carry electricity without any resistance and they are also used to make high speed MagLev trains (levitating trains). We use superconductors in a lot of very specialist equipment such as MRI scanners, at CERN and in nuclear fusion reactors. 🙂
